 I've always had the reverse, stuff from Germany arrives in days, sometimes its weeks am waiting on stuff in the UK am sure we have lazier ebayers. Anyways, back to the point, in those 10 days how long is it from Germany to it being held up in the UK ? the few things I've had to wait for as said have always been at the UK end of things, I've found German traders and ebayers great as they always provide a tracking number so I know when the blighters here are holding onto my goodies.

Hmm.... I think I'm turning into a hobnail-counter...

Was it authentic for German boots (short in this case) to have... not sure what they'd be called - like Blakey's on the front? I keep losing front hobnails and I was thinking of getting these fitted instead.

Back to jackboots.... I have apparently "authentic" ones, which come to about 2/3 of the way up the shin. However, look at these! (Estimated to be 1940-41)

Those look like officer's boots, which were higher and narrower around the calf. Has anyone tried At The Front's offerings http://www.atthefront.com
